How we work

A clear path from first talk to live software.

Custom software goes wrong when people guess. Each stage below exists to replace a guess with something you can see and decide on.

The five stages

  1. Discovery

    We sit down with the people who do the work and learn how it really happens, including the workarounds. Together we agree on the problem, what success looks like, and what belongs in a first version.

  2. Design

    We lay out the screens and the way work moves through them. You get to react to something concrete while changes are still cheaper to make, long before anything is built.

  3. Build

    We build in stages and show you working software as it takes shape, so you can steer. If the plan needs to change, we talk through what that does to cost and schedule first.

  4. Launch

    We bring over your existing data, test with the people who will use the application, and plan the switch with the aim of keeping your business running while it happens.

  5. Support

    Software needs looking after. After launch we can keep the application updated, help with problems as they come up, and change it as your business changes.
